Drifters Campground, behind Drifters Bar & Grill, provides a small number of tent sites, including three with electric hook-ups, especially for campers looking for economy rates and a great place to party. Just off the U.S. 19 expressway at the entrance to the middle New River Gorge, our campsites are convenient to all the area's great outdoor recreation. 

Campsites are available at $10 per tent per night. No more than two tents per site. Showers and restrooms are available at the grill, as are beer-to-go, cigarettes, and bagged ice. There is a $5 charge per use of shower. Our grill menu is also available dine-in or take-out for campers.

The campground is especially convenient for campers who are rafting, fishing, and kayaking in the middle New River Gorge region near Prince, Thurmond, and Stonecliff Beach.

Directions:

• From Beckley, follow the U.S. 19 expressway north toward Fayetteville tothe Glen Jean. Turn right at exit (in front of the Exxon Station), thenimmediately left onto W.Va. 16. Turn right after 100 feet.

• From Fayetteville, follow U.S. 19 expressway south toward Beckley to the Glen Jean exit. Turn left at the exit (in front of the Exxon Station), then immediately left onto W.Va. 16. Turn right after 100 feet.
