Drifters Bar & Grill, at the entrance to the middle New River Gorge, at Glen Jean, has served locals and tourists traveling the U.S. 19 expressway for decades. Between Beckley and Fayetteville, we're ideally located for travelers in search of easy-access refreshment in a wooded setting outside city areas.

Drifters features a private deck for outdoor entertainment in warm weather. Inside, you'll find a dance floor and karaoke stage and an adjacent pool room with two tables.

Hank Williams fans will especially enjoy Drifters: We're located on the route of Hank's Last Ride, and our delicious menu features recipes from the old Skyline Restaurant, at nearby Hill Top, where Williams' limousine stopped

Directions:

  • From Beckley, follow the U.S. 19 expressway north toward Fayetteville to the Glen Jean. Turn right at exit (in front of the Exxon Station), then immediately left onto W.Va. 16. Turn right after 100 feet.

  • From Fayetteville, follow U.S. 19 expressway south toward Beckley to the Glen Jean exit. Turn left at the exit (in front of the Exxon Station), then immediately left onto W.Va. 16. Turn right after 100 feet.
